What You’ll Need to Make the Most of Your Trip:

  • A Lake Tahoe Bike Rental: You’ll need a bike, and if you can’t bring your own, the easiest and most scenic way to enjoy South Lake Tahoe by bike is by renting bikes. Big Blue Bike Rentals is located on the adjacent bike path to the famous East Shore Trail.
  • Watercraft: The draw of Lake Tahoe is obviously… the lake! You’ll want to enjoy this impressively clear water as best as possible, and some watercraft will elevate the experience. From kayaks to Stand Up Paddleboards to Canoes or even boat tours, you will want to spend as much time on the water as you will off.
  • Hiking Gear: Lace up your hiking boots! You may want to lounge on the shore, but there is also a lot to do in the neighboring mountains. Several trails near South Lake Tahoe are well worth the steps!
